What it is
Sandstone boulders in rich brown and tan tones, with natural moss and lichen on the weathered faces. Sold by the ton. Sizes run from small accent rocks up to large centerpiece stones, so one order can mix a few big pieces with smaller fill stones.
What it is for
- Rustic and native beds. The warm color and weathered face read as old, settled stone.
- Focal points. A single large boulder in a bed of Premium Native Tree Mulch.
- Slopes and terraces. Set into a bank to hold soil.
- Dry creek beds and water features. Line the banks and fill the bed with Brazos river rock.
Moss sandstone pairs with the warm sandstones in our line, like Oklahoma flagstone. For a paler, cooler look, choose Limestone Boulders.
How much to order
Boulders are priced by weight. One ton can be a few large stones or several smaller ones. Tell us how many stones you want and the rough size, and we will help you choose the tonnage. Call 817-765-1655.
Setting tips
- Bury the bottom third of each stone so it looks natural.
